Emirati Coffee History
In the late 1930s, our founder’s grandfather loaded his ships with spices, textiles, machinery, and small green bags of coffee that would change the course of his life.
Coffee was then transported and traded throughout the Arabian Gulf. Coffee was served upon the arrival of ships at ports, in people’s homes and courtyards, and among friends and visitors. The aroma was familiar and distinctive; it was widely traded. The supply of coffee at Emirati Coffee dates back to ancient times and has been passed down through three successive generations. With the last generation, the glory of their ancestors in this trade was restored in a different way, as their supply of coffee became more specialized and meticulous in selecting the finest specialty coffees from around the world.
It is the beginning of our success story in supplying green coffee.
